Eric M. Lansing is a Richmond-born attorney practicing in criminal and traffic defense, family law, and estate planning. Before going into private practice, Eric served as a Virginia magistrate; and earlier in his career, he was a director of ParentalRights.org, a non-profit organization in the Washington, D.C. area dedicated to the legal rights of families.

Eric spent most of his growing-up years in the outskirts of a rural Virginia village called Dinwiddie. Life in the country without traffic lights taught him the joy of honest, ethical work that puts people first; and it was there that he developed a love for the law. Outside of his legal practice, Eric enjoys hiking, swimming, kayaking, old books, dead languages, and good coffee.
